About The Position
The Logistics Contract Management ensures compliant, cost-effective, and timely movement of materials and products across domestic and international supply chains with a high degree of independence and technical leadership. The role works across HPLS functions and external partners to deliver safe, compliant, timely, and sustainable results during project execution and ongoing operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience; level and scope will be calibrated to demonstrated capability.
- Demonstrated ability to manage priorities, analyze information, document work, and collaborate across functions.
- Working proficiency with Microsoft 365 and job-relevant enterprise or technical systems.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English and work effectively in a multicultural environment.
Nice To Haves
- Logistics experience supporting industrial projects, steel, automotive, heavy equipment, or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of Incoterms, bills of lading, customs documentation, tariff classification, freight claims, or transportation contracts.
- Experience with ERP/TMS/WMS systems and logistics analytics.
Responsibilities
- Support the development, review, and administration of logistics contracts with transportation providers and service vendors.
- Monitor contract compliance, service performance, and key performance indicators to ensure operational excellence.
- Coordinate contract renewals, amendments, and negotiations in collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Analyze logistics costs, rates, and service agreements to identify savings opportunities and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate contract records and prepare reports to support management decision-making.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor shipments, service providers, documentation, and delivery milestones.
- Maintain accurate transportation, customs, contract, cost, and performance records.
- Resolve delays, claims, discrepancies, detention, demurrage, damage, and service failures.
- Analyze rates, capacity, routes, service levels, and logistics cost and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, finance, warehouses, carriers, brokers, forwarders, suppliers, and customers.
