About The Position

The logistics clerk plays a key role in supporting veterinary professionals by promoting and supporting animal health products, ensuring smooth order processing, and delivering outstanding customer service. This position focuses on maximizing customer satisfaction and retention through effective product adoption, customer onboarding, training, and issue resolution. Acting as a liaison between customers and internal teams, the logistics clerk helps veterinary practices achieve their desired outcomes and realize the full value of the products and services.

Requirements

  • Experience in customer service, sales, telemarketing, or a similar customer-facing role is preferred.
  • Proven ability to work confidently and effectively in a customer-facing role, including phone and virtual interactions.
  • Strong customer-focused communication skills, with excellent verbal and written abilities to convey information clearly to veterinary professionals.
  • Experience as a veterinary technician is highly preferred, particularly in a veterinary clinic setting.
  • Experience leveraging CRM systems and data analytics to identify potential customers, segment accounts, and understand product needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a veterinary clinic, especially in a veterinary technician or similar role, is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in administrative support, clerical work, or call center environments is beneficial.
  • Experience handling inbound and outbound calls in a customer service or sales context is advantageous.
  • Comfort with data entry, record keeping, and maintaining accurate customer and sales information.
  • Interest in transitioning from hands-on clinic work to a customer support, sales support, or logistics-focused role within animal health.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with veterinary professionals to explain the characteristics, features, and benefits of products, and encourage them to test, use, and recommend these solutions.
  • Generate new and repeat sales by providing accurate product and technical information to veterinary practice associates.
  • Support identified customers with product placements, order processing, and timely delivery while responding promptly to regional leads.
  • Answer questions and provide expert product knowledge to guide and support customers with their orders and sales decisions.
  • Track and document all customer interactions, activities, and sales efforts using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database, including regular reports and territory records.
  • Monitor customer usage, satisfaction, and retention metrics using tools such as Salesforce to assess the effectiveness of customer success efforts.
  • Perform general administrative and clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and managing inbound and outbound calls to support customer service and logistics coordination.
