About The Position

Receives, inspects, inventory, documents and store shipments. Oversees data system for storage and tracking of goods and shipments. Prepares, packages, documents and delivers outgoing materials.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) required
  • Able to read, write and speak fluent English, with strong grammar and composition skills
  • Ability to provide clear communication and feedback
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations
  • Dependable

Nice To Haves

  • 1-3 years of Manufacturing and/or Logistics experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Handles incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Completes outbound deliveries using pre-designated software
  • Pulls, packs and ships finished goods
  • Accurately verifies and processes customers’ orders by matching quantities and types
  • Handles shipment receiving duties by ensuring the right item has been received and not damaged
  • Reports and replaces defective items prior to shipping
  • Ensure that all transactions are recorded in company database
  • Ensures that items are labeled and packed properly
  • Confirms items are loaded onto shipment vehicles in a safe and timely manner
  • Operates forklift to transport shipments within the facility
  • Handles space arrangements for incoming shipments in the storage area
  • Ensure the warehouse is cleaned and maintained at all times
  • Coordinates monthly, year-end and general inventory procedures and Cycle Counts
  • Checks packaging weekly and communicates with the Production Manager
  • Schedules shipping in ERP System
  • Loads and Unloads Heat treat
  • Accurately weighs and packs parts as indicated by instructions
  • Helps Operators move parts and process reels
  • Any and all other duties as assigned
