About The Position

Individual will serve as the Q.E.D. Systems Logistics Branch Manager in support of U.S. Navy Planning Yard requirements, supporting Ship Change Documents (SCDs), Design Ship Checks, Ship Installation Drawings (SIDs), Configuration Management, Logistics Support, Ship Availability Planning, and In-service Engineering Agent (ISEA) support. The Q.E.D. Systems Logistics Branch Manager will report to the Q.E.D. Systems Naval Engineering Manager and will be responsible for managing and overseeing all logistics requirements, including configuration management, ships technical documentation, technical manuals, and material provisioning and procurement.

Requirements

A minimum of 12-years of experience in managing depot level U.S. Navy surface ship modernization and maintenance logistics products, including Logistics Management Information (LMI), Provisioning Parts Lists, Design Change Notices (DCN), Ship Level Provisioning Parts List (SLPPL), Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD), Component Identification Data (CID) for Statement of Prior Submissions (SPS) & Advance Repairable Identification Code (RIC), Interim Support Items List, Engineering Data For Provisioning (EDFP), and IUID processes/procedures.
Must be able to access, use, and upload data to the Navy Ship Engineering Drawing Repository (NSEDR) and Navy Data Environment (NDE).
U.S. citizenship required.
Must be able to meet and maintain eligibility for U.S. Secret Clearance and be able to access U.S. Navy ships, military facilities, naval shipyards, and private shipyards.

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of NMP-MOM, Navy Ship Planning organization and processes; and a general knowledge of Government contracting are desired.
LCS and other Surface Combatant experience is preferred.
