This role is crucial for supporting accurate receiving, distribution, inventory control, transportation, records management, warehousing, and storage of products within the supply chain. The position involves daily management of material movement across Mayo Clinic, adhering to safety, security, and productivity standards. A significant part of the role includes interacting with suppliers to expedite orders, manage returns, and resolve invoice/receipt issues. The Logistics Associate also serves as a point of contact for internal staff, handling a high volume of requests and collaborating with other Supply Chain Management (SCM) personnel to resolve inquiries and problems. Special projects as assigned by SCM leadership are also part of the responsibilities. The role requires researching and resolving complex transactions, including "Invoices not Received" and "Received not Invoiced," as well as specialty transactions related to proof of delivery, shipping modes, and managing returns. Distribution of medical products, including controlled substances and hazardous materials, is also a key function. The associate will utilize various reports to ensure data integrity and identify trends that may cause processing delays, working with affected individuals to implement solutions. Compliance with policies and governmental regulations is essential. The selection process may include an OnDemand (pre-recorded) interview.
