About The Position

Ecolab is seeking a Logistics Associate II - Salvage for its Warehouse facility in McDonough, GA. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely picking, packing, preparing, and shipping of all customer orders. Additionally, the role is responsible for accurate material handling and cycle count functions. The associate will perform data entry, address departmental paperwork, conduct physical searches for missing products, assist in researching cycle count discrepancies, and provide daily feedback to process owners with root cause analysis. They will also provide inventory adjustment details to corporate, report discrepancies for accounting and record-keeping, and work with establishment representatives to rectify problems. The role involves tracking departmental data, generating reports, designing queries, compiling data, and generating reports in MS Excel, implementing waste training, and charting/graphing data for reporting. The associate will identify items with quantity discrepancies, communicate with the Supervisor/Lead, maintain the 5S cleanliness of the picking area, pull damaged products from bins, and follow all safety and warehouse procedures. This includes the disposition of damaged, scrap, and hazardous products for shipment to a waste provider.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1 year of previous Raymond stand-up forklift operating experience
  • Accurate record keeping of hazardous waste purposes
  • 2 years of previous plant or warehouse experience shipping/receiving
  • 1 year of working knowledge of inventory systems, SAP, WMS and MS Programs or ERP Systems
  • Experience with USDOT regulations related to shipping hazardous materials
  • Experienced with Hazard Inventory Control
  • Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam

Responsibilities

  • Performs data entry to release, moves into location, or adjusts inventory within computer software
  • Addresses departmental paperwork and conducts physical searches of missing products
  • Assists in researching discrepancies in cycle counts
  • Provide daily feedback to process owners with root cause analysis, including login details if available
  • Provide inventory adjustment details to corporate based on qualifying thresholds
  • Reports discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement, and record-keeping purposes
  • Works with establishment representatives to rectify problems such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications
  • Tracks departmental data and generates applicable reports as needed
  • Adhere to strict regulatory safety and quality standards
  • Designing of queries, compiling of data, and generation of reports in MS Excel
  • Implementing, conducting, and administering waste training
  • Charting and graphing of data for reporting purposes
  • Identifies items with a quantity discrepancy and promptly communicates with the Supervisor and/or Lead
