About The Position

Ecolab is seeking a Logistics Associate I to join their team in the McDonough, GA Warehouse. This role is crucial in supporting shipping, receiving, inventory, and overall warehouse operations. The Logistics Associate I will be responsible for ensuring customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and shipped on time. This is a hands-on position offering the opportunity to develop skills in a dynamic environment while adhering to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1 year of previous Raymond stand-up forklift operating experience
  • 1 year of previous plant or warehouse experience
  • No immigration sponsorship offered for this role

Responsibilities

  • Pick customer orders using a scanner or tablet and stack them onto pallets.
  • Stage and label completed orders accurately for shipment.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as manual and electric pallet jacks, reach trucks, and propane lifts.
  • Verify product quantities, labeling, and packaging quality against packing lists and SAP records.
  • Inspect packaging and contents for damage or quality issues.
  • Coordinate with customer service, production, and packaging teams to ensure order accuracy and timely fulfillment.
  • Assemble shipping boxes, prepare labels, and manage packaging induction.
  • Load trailers with packed boxes and pallets for outbound shipments.
  • Identify and report quantity discrepancies to the Supervisor or Lead.
  • Maintain a clean and organized picking area using 5S principles.
  • Support inventory control by updating databases and participating in cycle counts.
  • Ensure the freight sorting area is organized and follows established stocking guidelines.
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support logistics and warehouse operations.
