About The Position

KAIROS, Inc is searching for an energetic, experienced, and highly motivated Logistics and Sustainment Analyst, Journeyman, to join our team. This position is contingent upon contract award. This position will perform Logistics & Sustainment activities to support the life cycle of platforms, programs or portfolios. The candidate will be responsible for analysis, identification, planning, monitoring, and solutioning. Candidate will interface with contractors and government representatives in order to coordinate and complete project processes from requirements through disposal.

Requirements

  • Experience with NAVAIR and other Navy and Marine Corps and DoD sustainment-related systems
  • Experience supporting Naval Aviation to include but not limited to Aircraft (fixed wing, rotary wing, Unmanned Air Systems), Aircraft components and subsystems (e.g., avionics), Weapons (e.g., missiles, ordnance, bombs)
  • Experience supporting Integrated Product Support (IPS) (e.g., analysis of technical publications, manuals, spares, training, and support equipment)
  • Experience supporting Operations and Support (O&S) Analysis (e.g., analysis of work force, consumption, intermediate level maintenance, depot level maintenance, type of support (such as whether the Government should support a system organically or through contractor support), sustaining support, indirect support, and disposal requirements).
  • Experience creating business case analysis and return on investment analysis,
  • Experience with Enterprise Research Planning (ERP) implementation, and sustainment analysis).
  • Experience with or knowledge of Decision Knowledge Programing for Logistics Analysis and Technical Evaluation (DECKPLATE); Vector; Resource Allocation Management Program (RAMP); Integrated Product Support Management Systems (IPSMS); Aviation Maintenance/Supply Readiness Report (AMSRR); Organizational and Resource Status (OARS); Aviation Financial Analyst Support Tool (AFAST); Maintenance Data Analysis Tool (MDAT); Reliability and Maintainability Information System (REMIS); and Logistics, Installations, Mission Support-Enterprise View (LIMS-EV). Data shall be collected, integrated, filtered, and analyzed from Marine Aviation Logistics Enterprise Information Technology (MAL-EIT) to include the Expeditionary Pack-Up Kit (EPUK), Next-Generation Buffer Management System (NGBMS), and Logistics Planning Tool (LPT).
  • Experience with data warehouse systems for Type/Model/Series (T/M/S) aircraft maintenance, supply, cost, operations, configuration, engineering, and Self-Monitoring Analysis and Reporting Technology (SMART) aircraft data.

  • Five(5) to Ten(10) years of experience in Naval Aviation Supply Systems.
  • This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize team, perform sustainment cost analysis, life cycle cost estimates, and tradeoff assessments (such as Business Case Analysis (BCAs))
  • Understand and track Engineering change and major modification analysis, production rate sensitivity analysis, warranty analysis, Risk Based Cost Assessment) on readiness initiatives
  • Perform logistics and readiness analysis to include readiness impacts of advanced technologies, integration of aircraft operations, maintenance, and support requirements for various operational scenarios.
  • Analyze development, production, sustainment, and modification programs relative to their potential impact on sustainment costs, to include Organizational, Intermediate, and Depot Level (O/I/D-Level) maintenance options and Performance-Based Logistics (PBL) and Hybrid PBL sustainment strategies.
  • Conduct sustainment cost analysis to span all elements of IPS and O&S. Apply a technical baseline and translate technical and financial risk into cost including risk application to develop cost estimations, budgeting, planning, and programming for budgeting systems, the acquisition process, and logistics support processes.
  • Develop different courses of action, supported by conducting data analysis, to enhance materiel Logistics and Sustainment systems. Ability to map functionality, input/output requirements, and provides recommendations on how to incorporate data into decision making.
  • Assists in the development, analysis and review of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) plans.
  • Assists in the development, execution, analysis and review implementation of Life Cycle
