About The Position

Tricon Energy is seeking a highly organized and analytical Logistics & Operations Analyst to support daily logistics activities, coordinate shipments, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency. The role is suited to someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while using data and problem-solving skills to optimize logistics processes.

Tricon is a global trading and distribution company specializing in petrochemicals, polymers, and raw materials. Its workforce includes more than 1,000 employees across over 40 countries, and the company conducts business in more than 120 countries.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations.
• Familiarity with imports, trucking, warehouses, or inventory management.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Customer service experience and the ability to exceed customer service expectations.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and ownership of work.

Nice To Haves

• A bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, business, STEM, or a related field is preferred; candidates with other educational backgrounds and strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards or SAP, reporting tools, or process automation.
• Bilingual English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor shipments, inventory, and warehouse operations.
• Independently manage and oversee end-to-end import, customs, drayage, rail, and trucking activities.
• Evaluate transportation methods, carrier performance, routing, warehouse locations, and consolidation opportunities to optimize cost and service.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and system transactions.
• Resolve logistics issues and proactively communicate updates.
• Track shipments and resolve exceptions, including delays, reroutes, returns, documentation issues, and customs-related challenges, to minimize disruption.
• Use Excel and other systems to track data, prepare reports, and improve processes.
