About The Position
A Dispatcher coordinates the utilization of drivers, trucks, and containers to create capacity, maximize productivity, and provide prompt, courteous, and efficient customer service. The role includes routing vehicles, assigning loads, maintaining daily route schedules and documentation, and confirming route completion through driver check-ins. The position also involves customer interaction, reporting driver performance concerns to management, and following required safety policies and procedures. Other job-related duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Experience in a customer-facing position.

Responsibilities
- Route vehicles to achieve or exceed Company-established productivity goals.
- Assign loads to drivers based on designated routes and driver location.
- Prepare, update, and distribute the daily route schedule.
- Gather and maintain route sheet documentation for scheduled, missed, and extra pickups, route completions, and driver locations.
- Ensure route completion through the driver check-in process.
- Interact courteously with customers as required.
- Report driver performance issues or concerns to appropriate management for resolution.
- Follow required safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
