About The Position

The Logistics Analyst is responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and supporting the flow of goods across the supply chain to ensure timely distribution, high quality service, and cost-effective logistics operations. This role focuses on data-driven insights to improve logistics performance, transportation efficiency, and support efficient warehouse performance. The analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to monitor carrier performance, identify trends and risks, and recommend process improvements that reduce costs and improve operational service. This role operates in a hybrid work environment, combining in-office collaboration with remote workdays. This role may require occasional travelling to our distribution warehouses to support business initiatives. Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • One to three years experience in supply chain and/or logistics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Excel, and data reporting tools
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive, organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Personable and self-starter with the ability to engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams, with a result of driving forward various projects.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain analytic databases, KPOs, dashboards, and other reports to illustrate monthly performance of carriers, operations, and warehouses.
  • Analyze data to provide insights, opportunities, and risks.
  • Engage in strategic RFP negotiations to implement optimal service versus cost balances.
  • Process freight claims and identify damage mitigation opportunities.
  • Enhance freight audit pay processes to ensure timely payments to carriers.
  • Elevate and maintain the outbound experience for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support supply chain with ocean container optimization and status updates.
  • Support cross-functional teams with ocean shipment progress and direct imports.
  • Action inbound shipment requests and ensure routing compliance.
  • Other projects and tasks to support the business.
