A Logistics Analyst is responsible for the coordination and oversight of drivers, trucks, and containers to create capacity, maximize productivity and ensure prompt, courteous and efficient service to all customers. Additional responsibilities include the oversight of safety, customer experience, and productivity. The role involves analyzing daily route information, implementing changes for efficiency, and responding to same-day or next-day planning needs. The analyst will also manage driver safety, analyze logistics data, communicate with drivers, and evaluate driver performance. Key duties include responding to missed pickups, creating optimized routes for profitability, monitoring daily routing activities, assessing the need for swing routes, and determining if service requests can be pulled forward to enhance efficiency and customer experience. The position also requires interaction with customers as needed, ensuring route design supports safety and efficiency, and updating call center communications daily. The analyst must evaluate route issues causing delays, communicate with impacted customers, and review routing media to process service exceptions and ensure customer needs are met, ultimately striving for the highest level of customer satisfaction.
