About The Position

The Logistics Analyst is responsible for developing and implementing logistics strategies that support the efficient international transportation, production, distribution, and inventory management of finished goods, with the objective of optimizing product flow. This role also contributes to the development of policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure operational excellence, quality standards, and cost efficiency across logistics and activities for global markets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics or related field with 2 to 3 years of experience in international logistics or customer service
  • Demonstrated ability in data analysis to include interpretation, identification of trends and recommendations for action
  • Demonstrated understanding and implementation of various transportation options to meet service levels in a cost-effective manner
  • Demonstrated knowledge of international logistics
  • Demonstrated understanding and coordination of production schedules and inventory deployment
  • Solid communication skills to include verbal and written capabilities
  • Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI
  • SAP knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Conduct distribution and network optimizations, monitor inventory and analyze requirements to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery and On-time, In-full fill rates.
  • Maintain appropriate records and prepare reports.
  • Coordinate logistics activities with internal/external customers.
  • Create delivery documents to freight forwarders and customers in a timely manner.
  • Allocate available inventory to orders.
  • Generate and distribute metrics reports.
  • Manage activities among shipping locations, planners, and/or freight forwarders to achieve service targets.
  • Identify patterns and recognize opportunities for Supply Chain improvements.
  • Purchase Order management to ensure product and transportation availability to customer shipments.
  • Be the main contact and SME for international logistics.
  • Interface with planning groups to ensure and maintain inventory levels at the warehouses to meet service requirements.
  • Identify point of manufacture (POM) opportunities and take actions to capitalize on the opportunities.
  • Review and make appropriate business decisions around inventory/product allocation and actively manage service metrics to established targets.
