A Logistics Analyst is responsible for the coordination and oversight of drivers, trucks, and containers to create capacity, maximize productivity and ensure prompt, courteous and efficient service to all customers. Additional responsibilities include the oversight of safety, customer experience, and productivity. The role involves analyzing daily route information, implementing changes for efficiency, and responding to same-day or next-day planning needs. The analyst will also manage driver safety, analyze logistics data, communicate with drivers, and evaluate driver performance. They will create optimized routes, monitor daily activities, and determine if service requests can be expedited. Customer interaction, route design for safety and efficiency, and communication updates are also key aspects of the position. The analyst must be able to handle unexpected situations and adjust plans throughout the day, understand disposal plans, and determine if service requests can be pulled forward to drive efficiency and enhance customer experience.
