About The Position

As a Logistics Analyst / Property Management Specialist, you will be expected to independently complete tasks received from Project Managers, Asset Managers, and other contract management personnel. Support activities will include inventory management and reporting for Government Furnished Property (GFP) including equipment inventory, shipping, receiving documentation/KSDs, and property audit preparation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a logistician, logistics coordinator, warehouse operations, or other directly related experience.
  • Must be fluent with the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams and Outlook.
  • HS Diploma – Required
  • 3-5 years’ experience in equipment management, warehouse, shipping & receiving, or other directly related logistics/supply work history.
  • This position requires an Active SECRET security clearance.

  • Warfighting Acquisition University (WARU) [formerly Defense Acquisition University (DAU)]
  • ACQ 1010 – Fundamentals of Systems Acquisition Management (required within 6 months)
  • LOG 1000 – Life Cycle Logistics Fundamentals (required within 6 months)
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), Total Force Structure Management System (TFSMS), Global Combat Support System (GCSS), Management Control Activity (MCA) processes, Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE).

Responsibilities

  • Accurately and consistently conduct and report equipment inventory including corporate, contract, and government assets.
  • Plan and track equipment and supply asset shipments including updates to applicable databases, trackers, and status reports.
  • Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers, and managers to successfully complete procurement tasking while maintaining directed costs and schedules.
  • Prepare accurate reports for management and staff.
  • Organize transportation activities to include storage of equipment, information and data management, and timely updates to data repositories, databases, and reports.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy, quality, consistency, and professionalism.
