About The Position

The Logistics Administrator at The Chef’s Garden is responsible for ensuring the efficient, accurate, and timely movement of high-priority shipments, verification and issuing customer invoices. This role emphasizes coordination with sales, customs, and carriers while managing documentation, compliance, and cost-effectiveness in both domestic and international logistics operations.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with clean record.
  • Experience in logistics, warehouse, or shipping/receiving roles.
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Adobe PDF).
  • Tow motor certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and be active throughout shift.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new processes, systems, and procedures.
  • Strong accountability, urgency, and adaptability.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze logistics operations to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions.
  • Monitor and track high-priority and overnight shipments; escalate issues as needed.
  • Maintain accurate shipping records, invoices, and documentation.
  • Complete daily invoicing accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare and verify export documents and shipping labels (air bills, freight bills, commercial invoices etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations and manage international shipping documentation, including familiarity with CARM and incoterms (e.g. DDP).
  • Serve as a liaison between customs brokers, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
  • Run and verify delivery, claims and shipping cost reports on a regular basis.
  • Support internal coordination between logistics and sales by providing tracking information, shipping rate updates and finding cost-effective shipping alternatives.
  • Operate tow motor equipment (certification required).
  • Any and all other duties as assigned.
