About The Position

The Logistics Administrator provides essential administrative support to the logistics department. This role manages purchase orders, maintains safety and driver records, pulls reports, and ensures accurate vendor payments. As the logistics administrator, you will report directly to the Director of Logistics to help support with other tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years experience in Office Administration
  • Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience putting together slide deck presentations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Works well in a team environment.
  • Detailed oriented and self-motivated.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with logistics software and tools.
  • Previous experience in an administrative, receptionist, or office support role.
  • College Degree or Certificates.

Responsibilities

  • Process all weekly purchase orders accurately in DooApp.
  • Communicate with carriers and drivers to collect and correct missing or inaccurate paperwork.
  • Assist with maintaining DOT compliance documentation, such as driver qualification files, vehicle inspections, and insurance certifications.
  • Track expiration dates for driver medical cards, licenses, and safety certifications; send reminders to driver and management.
  • Update and maintain logistics spreadsheets and databases to track vehicle movements, fuel receipts, or mileage logs.
  • Coordinate communication between customers, Inside Sales, and other departments to ensure requests are handled efficiently.
  • Organize electronic records for the team
  • Upload customer pickup forms to ERP system
  • Assist with driver safety records
