About The Position

Join our team as a Logistics Administrative Assistant where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations within our Logistics Department. This position focuses on data entry, quality checking of invoices, shipping documents, and maintenance forms, while providing essential administrative support.

Requirements

  • 1 - 3 years of experience as an administrative assistant or in a clerical role.
  • Data entry and administrative support skills.
  • Typing skills with a minimum of 35 words per minute (testing required).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Possess math skills sufficient to perform required tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in logistics or transportation is an advantage.
  • An equivalent combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry and quality checking of invoices, shipping documents, and maintenance forms.
  • Provide administrative, phone, and clerical support to the Logistics Department, focusing on Inter-Franchise customers.
  • Send and receive emails, answer incoming and make outgoing phone calls, and follow up on inquiries.
  • Field and answer routine calls and emails, addressing non-routine questions or observations.
  • Facilitate the sharing of information between Logistics staff, vendors, and internal customers.
  • Assist in KPI reporting.
  • Perform data entry in Excel.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
