About The Position

Synertex LLC is seeking a Logistician III to oversee all aspects of the kitting process in support of United States Coast Guard Programmed Depot Maintenance (PDM) activities in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. This position supports supply-related full kit issue identification, logistics coordination, customer service, inventory status tracking, recordkeeping, and reporting activities.

  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent and have at least ten (10) years of experience in supply/logistics.
  • Possess integrity, dependability, excellent verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently or lead a team effectively.
  • Possess strong understanding of customer service principles and processes, including assessing customer needs, ensuring quality standards, and evaluating customer satisfaction.
  • Successfully complete the required Background Investigation (BI) process and obtain/maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and ALC badge in accordance with contract requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year experience in USCG procedures.
  • Proficiency in using Aviation Logistics Management Information System (ALMIS).
  • Proficiency in using Asset Maintenance Management Information System (AMMIS).
  • Intermediate experience with Critical Chain Project Management Tool (Concerto).
  • Intermediate experience with Theory of Constraints (Concerto).

Responsibilities

  • Attend daily and weekly meetings, including Theory of Constraints, Issue Resolution, Full Kit, and Industrial Team Meetings, and report supply/kitting issues affecting the PDM production schedule.
  • Review logistics performance with customers against established targets, benchmarks, and service agreements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to meet customer requirements and minimize negative impacts on Product Lines and/or Air Stations.
  • Evaluate material, supply, and finished product availability and allocation to maximize value and reduce costs.
  • Build and maintain positive business relationships with key personnel involved in logistics activities.
  • Present proposed solutions to customers, management, or other stakeholders through written proposals and oral presentations.
  • Stay updated on logistics technology advancements and apply them to improve processes.
  • Estimate quantities, costs, resources, and materials needed for PDM full kitting.
  • Ensure proper receipt of equipment and materials.
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and make necessary kit adjustments.
  • Report full kit plans, progress, and delays.
  • Monitor incoming components and supplies and verify proper identifying documentation.
  • Maintain kit inventory status in Concerto and on respective cabinets and inventory control points.
  • Conduct quarterly kit reviews to ensure items are correctly identified, including aircraft-specific items, supply candidates, hangar deck items, supply items, and Auto 6000 items.
  • Perform daily maintenance of two-bin inventory systems.
  • Organize and update the tag bible for all routed assets.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding kit status.
  • Report back orders or delays in full kitting to managers or other personnel.
  • Develop training materials and process guides for full kit processes and conduct internal audits.
  • Protect and control proprietary materials handled at CG-AIR.
  • Support monthly updates to technical manuals through ATIP.
