About The Position

Valkyrie is seeking a dedicated Logistician II to perform Integrated Product Support (IPS) tasking to support Naval Combat Systems onboard large deck amphibious ships and aircraft carriers. This role is in Virginia Beach, VA.

Requirements

  • Must have a HS Diploma or equivalent with at least + 5 years related experience with SSDS, Navy, and/or shipboard systems.
  • Must have proven experience in configuration and data management.
  • Must be able to utilize Microsoft teams to update and track task statuses and maintain communications with the team.
  • Must have the ability to coordinate with multi-site teams and manage complex documentation processes.
  • Must have an Active Secret Security clearance and the ability to maintain it.
  • Must have base access requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • A BS degree in related field, preferred.
  • Have experience utilizing Windchill to support IWS electronic Product Lifecycle Management tasking, preferred.
  • Experience using ERP and Navy Data Environment (NDE) ILS Modules, preferred.
  • Experience with supporting NSWCDD DNA, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD) supporting the development and maintenance of Allowance Parts Lists (APLs) for SSDS and Integrated Combat Systems (ICS) baselines, including incorporation of approved field changes.
  • Manage and track Interactive Computer Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS) packages and provisioning actions through completion following submission to Navy Supply Weapon System Support (NAVSUP WSS).
  • Track technical documentation status and support efforts to ensure technical data products remain accurate, adequate, and suitable for system supportability and sustainment.
  • Participate in technical documentation meetings, planning activities, working groups, and reviews, including Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Ship Change Documents (SCDs), Technical Working Groups, and ILS/IPS meetings.
  • Provide provisioning feedback from Fleet COSAL Feedback Reports (FCFBRs) or Engineering Support Requests Systems (ESRS).
  • Support the ongoing development and maintenance of PTD and APLs for fielded and developmental SSDS and ICS baselines, incorporating applicable engineering and field changes.
  • Provide support in the development, tracking, and processing of SIDs, SCDs, ECPs, and Problem Reports related to SSDS.
