The Logistician II (SATCOM) will provide Operating Material and Supplies (OM&S) Inventory Management Support, including supporting Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP) book to floor inventory inspections. This role involves creating and providing Catalog Ordering Logistic Tracking System (COLTS) database inventory reports and As Installed Configuration Management (CM) reports. The logistician will also handle Material Support Shipment actions, responding to shipment requests and creating necessary documentation for outgoing and return shipments worldwide. A key responsibility is performing COLTS database updates to provide real-time status of Program of Record (POR) Spares allocation, location, and material condition. This includes researching Navy Supply’s One Touch Supply database, SATCOM ILS products (Technical Publications, Approved Parts Lists - APLs), and other databases to gather data such as parts weight, dimensions, reference designators, Navy Stock Numbers (NSN), and Source Maintenance and Recoverability Codes (SM&R). The role also supports International Partners (IP) with Navy Multiband Terminal (NMT) systems, responding to IP email notifications of failed parts and creating offline Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) forms. Additionally, the logistician will coordinate Installation Check Out Spares (INCOS) support, including COLTS updates, INCOS international shipments, and testing of failed assets returned to NIWC LANT, CH for No Evidence of Failure (NEOF) testing. Coordination of DEPOT overhaul, modification, and tracking of NMT X-Band High Power Amplifier Power Condition Units, including COLTS modifications updates, and NMT EBEM inventory and management, including creating and submitting offline ITSM tickets for failed EBEM repair efforts, are also part of the duties.
