About The Position

The Logistics Pricing Analyst – Warehousing & Distribution leads pricing strategy, cost analysis, and commercial contract management across direct-operated and 3PL networks. This role is responsible for end-to-end RFP/RFQ execution, vendor sourcing (MHE, staffing, racking, automation), cost modeling, and operational procurement workflows utilizing company’s internal logistics platform (Cello).

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience in logistics, pricing, cost modeling, warehousing procurement, or contract administration.
Advanced MS Excel (financial/cost modeling, pivot tables), PowerPoint, and enterprise logistics systems (Cello, TMS, WMS, ERP).
Strong understanding of warehousing cost drivers, equipment leasing/purchasing, labor rates, and commercial contract structures (MSAs, SLAs, rate exhibits).
Proven ability to translate complex data into clear leadership presentations and manage multi-stakeholder cross-functional projects.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with large-scale distribution networks or multiple DCs.
Prior exposure to MHE leasing/purchasing, pallet pooling agreements, or temporary staffing procurement.
Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean Logistics, or similar methodologies.
Knowledge of compliance standards and safety regulations in warehouse logistics.

Responsibilities

Build dynamic cost models (storage, labor, equipment, VAS) to evaluate 3PL proposals and benchmark against direct-operation costs.
Generate executive-level reports, pricing summaries, and scenario comparisons to support strategic decision-making and site selection.
Analyze rate structures and identify cost-saving and operational improvement opportunities across distribution centers.
Lead RFI/RFP/RFQ processes for 3PL warehousing operations and direct-operation support vendors (staffing agencies, MHE providers, rack installers, automation systems).
Partner with Legal, Procurement, and Operations to draft, review, and maintain service agreements (MSAs, SOWs, SLAs), rate cards.
Oversee contract extensions, pricing amendments, and scope-change controls with internal/external partners.
Conduct vendor benchmarking, commercial evaluations, and bid comparisons to ensure competitive pricing, service capability, and compliance with internal procurement requirements.
Execute end-to-end procurement workflows within company’s Cello platform, including RFQ floating, vendor quote consolidation, and commercial bid evaluations.
Oversee contract and billing administration in Cello, ensuring timely registration of master rate cards, monitoring billing settlements, and resolving cost variances.
Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, IT, Legal, and Finance to ensure pricing accuracy, operational feasibility, and system alignment.
Lead and support ad hoc logistics, sourcing, pricing, and operational projects driven by evolving business requirements, customer needs, and management priorities.
Develop rapid business cases, cost analyses, market benchmarks, and sourcing strategies for new warehouse operations, network changes, customer opportunities, and special projects.
Support new site launches, expansions, relocations, operational transitions, and other time-sensitive initiatives from initial feasibility assessment through vendor sourcing and implementation.
Evaluate emerging logistics technologies and solutions, including warehouse automation, MHE, robotics, and other productivity-enhancement initiatives, from both operational and financial perspectives.
