About The Position
Clendenin Lumber Co., located in Donalds SC is a leading manufacturer of hardwood lumber. This is a great opportunity for an individual to join our growing team as a Log Yard Technician.
Requirements
- Adherence to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Strong communication skills and familiarity with working in a team-based environment
- Willingness to work in hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment
- Must maintain a valid South Carolina driver's license
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as an equipment operator either in a log yard environment or at a logging operation
- Must be self motivated and organized
Responsibilities
- Operating a front-end loader and knuckle boom to unload and load trucks
- Grading/scaling logs per company guidelines
- Chainsaw operation
- Scaling, trimming and preparing logs
- Operating handheld data recording device
