About The Position
The Baillie Group is hiring a hardwood log scaler for its sawmill in Amissville, Virginia. The role involves identifying log types, grading and scaling logs, assisting with domestic and export log resales, and helping load logs into export containers. This is a full-time opportunity for someone with prior log-scaling experience, working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a focus on safety and quality.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience scaling logs; this is not an entry-level position.
- Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities
