About The Position
La-kwa sa muqw Forestry (LKSM) is seeking a fully qualified Log Loader Operator - Dryland Sort (Sorter/Juicer Operator) to join their team in Kelsey Bay, BC. This position offers the chance to contribute to a progressive organization committed to responsible forest management, with strong values in safety and sustainability. This role is considered safety sensitive; all successful candidates will be subject to a pre-employment drug test.
Requirements
- Fully qualified in all aspects of the job with minimum 2 years of experience in BC Coastal Logging.
- A Valid Driver’s license.
- A valid Intermediate First Aid certificate is required.
- Experience operating other equipment such as Wheel Loader and Stacker/Wagner is required.
- Excellent safety record and strong work ethic.
Nice To Haves
- A valid Advanced First Aid certificate.
Responsibilities
- Operate a log loader in a dryland sort environment.
- Sort logs according to specified criteria.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
