About The Position

Deer Valley Resort is seeking a Lodging Maintenance Technician Level II for the Winter 2026-27 season. This role involves performing a wide range of maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work across lodging property facilities. The responsibilities include electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general upkeep of both interior and exterior areas. The role also supports grounds maintenance, snow removal, and care of outdoor spaces to ensure all areas are safe, functional, and well-maintained. Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 months of technician experience required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (50+ lbs).
  • Ability to work at heights.
  • Ability to complete physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Must be able to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, swing, and graveyard shifts.
  • Accepting In-Country H-2B Candidates Only (Transfers and Extensions). No Out-of-Country Sponsorship Available.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, and finishing work.
  • Safely operate company vehicles and various equipment in a range of weather conditions.
  • Work with chemicals including pool chemicals, concrete sealers, and painting products.
  • Use ladders, scaffolding, and power tools such as drills, saws, wrenches, and precision instruments.
  • Troubleshoot and repair pumps, condensers, motors, lighting, and 3-phase electrical panels and circuits.
  • Install and repair faucets, drains, toilets, and flush mechanisms; resolve leaks and drainage issues.
  • Repair cabinetry, counters, stairs, doors, and walls; perform drywall patching and paint touch-ups.
  • Perform interior and exterior painting and texturing as needed.
  • Conduct grounds maintenance including lawn care, tree and shrub trimming, landscape upkeep, and snow removal.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing outdoor and indoor environments.
