About The Position

Moonlight Basin is seeking H2B In-Country workers for the Winter Season (November 9th, 2026 - April 19th, 2027) to join their team in Big Sky, Montana. This role involves supporting the upkeep, cleanliness, and presentation of lodge common areas and public spaces, focusing on guest-facing environments like lobbies, lounges, hallways, restrooms, and resort amenities. The Lodgekeeper will help ensure the lodge is clean, orderly, and ready for guest use at all times, contributing to a culture of excellence and hospitality in a scenic mountain setting.

Requirements

  • Proficient in English reading, writing, and comprehension
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, leadership, and members/guests
  • Exceptional attention to detail in all cleaning and maintenance tasks
  • High level of integrity, reliability, and honesty
  • Ability to perform duties efficiently while maintaining quality standards
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
  • Reliable, positive, and professional attitude with a commitment to quality and teamwork
  • Must comply with Moonlight Basin’s Dress and Grooming policies
  • Ability to complete tasks in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful hospitality environment with unpredictable business levels
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift)
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds independently
  • Must have the stamina to perform physically demanding tasks, including repetitive motions such as scrubbing, vacuuming, dusting, etc.
  • Ability to safely navigate slippery or uneven floors and tight workspaces
  • Capable of hearing, speaking, and seeing well enough to communicate effectively in a noisy lodge setting
  • Comfortable working long shifts, weekends, holidays, and variable hours based on seasonal business demands

Nice To Haves

  • Additional language skills are a plus
  • CPR/First Aid Certification

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain public lodge areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, lounges, stairwells, and amenity spaces
  • Perform routine cleaning such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces
  • Maintain cleanliness of windows, doors, railings, and high-visibility areas
  • Restock restroom supplies and lodge amenities
  • Monitor and tidy high-traffic areas throughout the day
  • Assist with minor setup tasks for meetings, small events, or guest needs
  • Report maintenance or safety concerns to management
  • Provide directions or basic guest assistance
