About The Position

The Large Order Desk Project Specialist is directly responsible quoting and negotiating large order and overseas/custom inquiries for Leed’s, Bullet, and Trimark. This position requires the ability to handle a high degree of accuracy, multi-tasking, and decision making, in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years sales experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the PCNA sales organization and distributors by facilitating domestic large order and overseas / custom quotes for projects or new business opportunities. This includes but is not limited to negotiating special pricing, custom product/overseas offerings, compliance requirements, production lead time, inventory evaluation, freight estimates, and fulfillment requests.
  • Evaluate and manage each domestic, overseas, or custom inquiry, collaborating as needed with the Sales Representative, GBS, Logistics, Product Development, or customer to negotiate and requote projects/opportunities to maximize probability to win.
  • Apply critical thinking skills and utilize tools such as Demand Optimizer, Pricing Calculators, Freight Calculators, Operations intelligence, and other required resources to process comprehensive formalized quotes/estimates, executing all requests and quotes accurately within SLA agreement and target margin goals.
  • Oversee and support orders placed with factories from PO placement through billing and solutions as needed, including margin evaluation, and escalating as needed.
  • Partner with Sales Representatives to discuss and align on large order domestic and custom GTM strategy.
  • Manage communication and relationship with sales organization, internal partners, and customers as needed.
  • Review weekly reports to ensure Opportunities and Quotes are being updated by each Opportunity Owner in a timely manner, following up as needed. Analyze workflow and recommend process improvements for streamlining overseas and domestic inquiries on an ongoing basis.
  • Analyze opportunities and provide insights for winning overseas and domestic business on an ongoing basis, sharing insights and best practices with sales and internal teams.
  • Support specialized projects, coverage and tasks as needed.
  • Balances the management of PCNA’s policies and procedures with the needs of the customer for each project and opportunity.
