About The Position

Join Valmet's team of experts supporting the service group! Under the general guidance from the Manager, Shutdown Planning and Order Management shall be responsible in this role for supporting the North America Pulp & Energy Field Services group with a focus on Lifecycle Projects. The position will work closely with Field Service, Sales, Product teams, and the Project Management team. This position will be responsible for planning and coordinating service activities related to the installation and maintenance of Valmet equipment at customer sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in accounting or related business field with 5 or more years of experience and / or equivalent experience.
• Ability to learn to read drawings, and associated bills-of-material.
• Self prioritizes and plans work activities with an ability to identify and resolve problems.
• Capability to handle multiple and changing priorities.
• Strong inter-personal skills in dealing with internal and external customers.
• Excellent technical verbal and written skills required.
• Demonstrated computer skills; and ability to adapt to different business systems.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to the process improvement of the group.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the request for proposal process for field service technical and mechanical services.
• Prepares technical service quotations for customers as required
• Codes and process Basware invoicing to appropriate charge area for all Basware invoices in the group
• Actively monitors, adjusts invoicing timing, and leads the Fiber Field Service portion of backlog meetings to ensure timeliness of invoicing for projects.
• Responsible the creation of service projects inside of LN to include field technical, field mechanical, and full turnkey projects with technical advisory, parts, and labor.
• Follows up on initial and revised customer purchase orders for projects.
• Response to write purchase orders to vendors, subcontractors, and internally as applicable
• Prepares invoice backups for field technical service and works with project managers to process field mechanical services backups for turnkey projects
• Responsible for invoicing all field technical and mechanical services
• Active participant in the tracking and following of active parts orders to work in coordination with project management and workshop lead
• Creates work orders and schedules field personnel on technical and mechanical service projects.
• Assist in the maintenance of the reporting process / outstanding report list.
• Assist in the recording and data analysis of field service projects to assist with future historical bidding.
• Develops working relationship with customers, contractors, and internal Valmet team.
• Other duties as assigned.
