About The Position

VCA Arden Animal Hospital is seeking a Locum Veterinarian to join our General Practice Hospital in Glendale, CA. This position requires a flexible schedule and the ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays and weekends. Come experience a compassionate and collaborative work environment where experienced Doctors can continue to grow with the support of seasoned doctors. Be supported by our team of highly trained and talented Technicians. We have five doctors, six RVT's and additional knowledgeable support staff. The hospital features a large surgical suite, dental wet table, ultrasound, in-house diagnostics, a shared doctors' office, and grooming and boarding facilities. The hospital utilizes hands-free radiology and prefers associates who are Fear-Free accredited or Fear Free Certified when possible. Acupuncture services are also available.

Requirements

A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent.
Licensure in good standing to practice in California, or the ability to obtain.
A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.

Nice To Haves

Fear-Free accredited or Fear Free Certified associates when possible.
Experience with acupuncture.

Responsibilities
