About The Position

Join a well-respected family medicine practice located in the heart of Franklin, Virginia. This facility provides outpatient care to a diverse patient population, catering to adults, geriatrics, and some pediatric cases. As a locum physician, you will have the opportunity to provide vital healthcare services while enjoying the supportive environment of a dedicated medical team. Coverage is needed from September 21, 2026, to December 18, 2026, with a schedule of Monday to Wednesday from 8 AM to 2 PM. No call coverage is required, allowing you to maintain a work-life balance.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Family Medicine.
• Active Virginia medical license or ability to obtain one before start date.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• DEA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient care focusing on age groups 16 and up.
• Conduct routine examinations and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Perform necessary procedures including pap smears and diabetic foot exams.
• Utilize the Epic EMR system for documentation purposes.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
• Handle an average of 10-16 patients per day.
