About The Position
Henry Ford Macomb Hospital is seeking a Locum Physician Assistant (PA) to provide assistance in Cardiothoracic Surgery. This is an inpatient role within a Level 2 Trauma Center, serving an adult patient population. The schedule is typically 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a varying rotational call schedule at a 1:4 ratio. The average daily patient volume ranges from 4-8 patients. The PA will primarily assist in surgery, with a physician present in the OR. The EMR system used is Epic.
