About The Position

North Memorial Health is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join their collaborative team, dedicated to empowering patients to achieve their best health and delivering unmatched patient service. North Memorial Health, an independent health system founded in 1954, is recognized as a leader in regional healthcare. It is a comprehensive health care system serving the north, central, and west communities in the Twin Cities metro area, with referrals extending from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and the Dakotas. The system includes two hospitals (Robbinsdale Hospital & Maple Grove Hospital) and a metro-wide network of primary, specialty, and urgent care clinics, outpatient centers, medical transportation, and community outreach. Robbinsdale Hospital is a 385-bed Level 1 Trauma Center, Level II pediatric trauma center, and Level III NICU. Maple Grove Hospital is a 134-bed community hospital, recognized for Women and Children Care with a Level III NICU and the largest Family Birth Center in the state. Both hospitals were named to the 2022 Fortune/Merative 100 Top Hospitals® list and 2023 Women’s Choice Award Best Hospitals list. The position offers a comprehensive cardiac surgery program within a smaller, independent organization, providing a high level of provider autonomy. The team is established, collaborative, and collegial, with a great area reputation. The program includes a busy structural heart program offering TAVR, TEER, and LAAC, supported by 4 state-of-the-art Cath Labs (2 Interventional, 2 EP) and excellent anesthesia and APP support.

Requirements

  • Board eligible or certified in Cardiology as well as Interventional Cardiology
  • Completion of an ABMS Interventional Cardiology Fellowship
  • Current State of Minnesota Medical Doctor license
  • Valid DEA Registration
