About The Position
A respected healthcare facility in Powell is seeking an experienced Locum Tenens Ob/Gyn Physician (MD/DO) to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care. Requirements
- MD or DO with board certification or board eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Active state medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Current DEA registration
- Strong surgical, obstetric, and clinical decision‑making skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent communication and patient‑care skills
Responsibilities
- Deliver full‑scope Ob/Gyn care including prenatal visits, labor & delivery coverage, postpartum care, and routine gynecologic services.
- Manage both low‑risk and high‑risk pregnancies.
- Perform gynecologic procedures and surgeries as required by the facility.
- Conduct patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, and ensure continuity of care.
- Collaborate with CNMs, nurses, and other members of the women’s health team.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
- Provide patient‑centered care with strong communication and clinical judgment.
