The role is located in Keyser, WV and Petersburg, WV, West Virginia.
Requirements
- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Active medical license to practice in the state
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Hematology Oncology
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
- DEA required
Nice To Haves
- Board certification in Hematology Oncology is preferred
- Must be board-certified
Responsibilities
- Provide expert consultations and patient assessments in Hematology Oncology
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate care
- Educate patients and their families about cancer diagnosis and treatment options
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
- Participate in departmental meetings and continuous education
- Ensure compliance with medical standards and regulations
