Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Active medical license in the state of Missouri
Experience in Hematology Oncology, preferably in a clinical setting
Strong diagnostic and treatment skills related to blood disorders and cancers
Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment
Commitment to continuing education and professional growth
Must be board-certified

Responsibilities

Provide expert diagnosis and treatment for hematologic and oncologic conditions
Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans
Conduct patient consultations and follow-ups
Perform necessary procedures and treatments as required
Participate in patient education regarding treatment options and health management
Document patient care activities in electronic medical records
Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure optimal patient care and service delivery
Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with advancements in hematology oncology
Chemotherapy supervision/orders
Bone marrow biopsies/aspirations
Management of oncologic emergencies
Genetic testing/counseling coordination
Supervise APPs
