Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Current board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine
- Relevant clinical experience in an emergency setting
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Active medical license in the respective state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Board certification required
- Will consider new grads
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with acute medical conditions in an emergency setting
- Perform life-saving procedures as required
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal care
- Document patient encounters comprehensively and accurately
- Participate in ongoing medical education and professional development
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emergency medicine protocols and practices
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical care as needed
- Assist in the training and supervision of medical students and residents
