Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico
- Experience in emergency medicine, preferably in a clinical setting
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practices
- Must be board-certified
Nice To Haves
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine is preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency medical services to patients
- Conduct thorough medical assessments and treatment plans
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Respond to medical emergencies and conduct life-saving procedures
- Supervise and guide junior medical staff and others in the clinical setting
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with medical protocols
- Attend and participate in continuing medical education and training
- Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards within the facility
