About The Position
Located in the heart of the Ozark Mountains, this facility is strong in orthopedics, general surgery, and GYN. A fair number of general ENT and dental cases are performed as well. The facility delivers approximately 500 babies annually and performs approximately 6000 surgical cases annually. It is a level 1 nursery and a level 3 trauma facility.
Requirements
- Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board on Certification and Re-Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
- Valid, unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses in Arkansas.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CRNA.
- Proficiency in OB, Peds and Regional Blocks.
- Strong clinical knowledge and ability to perform anesthesia management for diverse patient populations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Ability to adapt to changing clinical situations and deliver optimal patient care.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required.
- Must be willing to take call and work independently at times.
Nice To Haves
- Regional Block experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver anesthesia management for general, OB, ortho, endo, and healthy peds ENT/Dental cases.
- Work independently at times.
- Take call with a 20-minute response time and light call back.
- Perform anesthesia for approximately 6000 surgical cases annually.
- Assist with approximately 500 deliveries annually.
