About The Position

This is a locum contract position for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Southwestern Missouri, running from June to October. The role involves providing anesthesia services for a variety of case types including Complete Ortho, Complex Vascular, Head Spine, Neuro, OB, Pediatric, and Regional cases. The CRNA will work under a supervision model and is expected to cover 1x12hr shifts on Fridays and 1x24hr shifts on Saturdays, with beeper call responsibilities. Credentialing typically takes 60-90 days. The facility utilizes the EPIC EMR system.

Requirements

Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board on Certification and Re-Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
Valid, unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses in Missouri (Currently, or willing to obtain).
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a CRNA.
Proficiency in complex Neuro, Spinal, ENT, OB, and EP cases.
Strong clinical knowledge.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to changing clinical situations.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia management for diverse patient populations.
Perform anesthesia for Complete Ortho, Complex Vascular, Head Spine, Neuro, OB, Pediatric, and Regional cases.
Work 1x12hr shifts on Fridays and 1x24hr shifts on Saturdays.
Be on beeper call.
Adapt to changing clinical situations and deliver optimal patient care.
Interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
