About The Position

Access Healthcare Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a qualified Locum CRNA to provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care across a range of clinical settings. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, sound judgment, and a patient-centered approach to care. This locum opportunity offers flexibility while allowing the CRNA to work within a collaborative, well-supported anesthesia care team.

Requirements

• Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board on Certification and Re-certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
• Valid, unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses in Texas
• Minimum of 1–3 years of CRNA experience preferred
• Proficiency in various case types
• Strong clinical knowledge
• Ability to provide anesthesia care to diverse patient populations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and the care team
• BLS required
• ACLS required

Nice To Haves

• Experience with vascular and thoracic surgery
• Experience in regional anesthesia
• Experience in pediatrics
• PALS
• Other advanced certifications as applicable

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care across a range of clinical settings.
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills, sound judgment, and a patient-centered approach to care.
• Work within a collaborative, well-supported anesthesia care team.
• Provide anesthesia care to diverse patient populations.
• Handle Neuro, General, OB/GYN, GI, ENT (healthy peds), Plastics, Urology, Podiatry cases.
• Administer Labor Epidurals and SAB for C-Sections.
• Perform elective total and trauma orthopedic cases.
• Be available for frequent primary and backup call needs during the week and weekends.
• Work independently with MDs onsite if needed from Monday-Friday.
• Be proficient in OB experience.
• Be able to perform Neurosurgery cases.
• Handle run-of-the-mill general surgery cases and high-acuity ones.
