About The Position
PRN Locum CRNA opportunity in Central Arkansas, located between Fort Smith and Little Rock. This position offers a flexible schedule with an 8-hour guarantee, typically working from 0630 to 1500, Monday through Friday. While full shifts are rarely worked, proximity to the hospital is required during work hours. Call is available and desired, with infrequent callbacks. The role involves independent supervision and covers case types including B&B, OB, Endo, and Healthy Peds, excluding CV cases. Credentialing takes approximately 30 days, with temporary privileges available for candidates with a clean background. Proficiency in epidural and spinal anesthesia is a special requirement. The EMR system used is Cerner.
Requirements
- Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board on Certification and Re-Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
- Valid, unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses in Arkansas.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a CRNA.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Strong clinical knowledge.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing clinical situations.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
