About The Position
Locksmiths are responsible for the installation, service, and troubleshooting of locks for a variety of residential, commercial, and enterprise level customers.
Requirements
- At least two years as a locksmith.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for documentation and customer and peer interaction.
- Advanced problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Technologically driven with a desire to learn new technology continually.
- Strong work ethic and career focused.
- Locksmith, electronic doors, and low voltage.
- Ability to read and understand technical diagrams, manuals, and project documentation.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure mechanical and electronic locks, access control, and hardware.
- Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on locking systems.
- Cut/duplicate keys, rekey cylinders, and manage master-key systems.
- Communicate with customers, document work, and ensure code compliance.
