About The Position

Hobby Lobby Stores is a privately held corporation searching for a resourceful, talented, and motivated individual to fill a position as Locks and Keys Specialist. This position will serve our stores by fulfilling their security hardware needs to include locks, keys. This is a “hands-on” position requiring the ability to efficiently work with your hands, as well as possess a strong aptitude to “think on your feet” when fulfilling the needs of our stores. The position is located in our Corporate Headquarters offices at SW 44th and Council, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with a standard Monday-Friday, 40-hour week. No relocation assistance is offered with this position.

Requirements

Locksmiths and technicians encouraged to apply
Strong mechanical / technical problem-solving aptitude
Ability to efficiently assess and prioritize an ever-changing, deadline-oriented workload
Ability to be an effective team player in a fast-paced work environment
High level of integrity with the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
Functional knowledge and demonstrated use of standard PC applications (MS office, adobe, etc.)
Capacity to analyze information, recognize problems, and draw logical conclusions
A perceptive customer service mindset with an emphasis on responsive resolutions
Positive attitude with a desire to be an integral part of a strong support system for our stores
Excellent interpersonal skills
Articulate written and oral communication skills
Ability to sit for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

Working directly with store management and store operations to resolve issues with security hardware
Maintenance of department database
Ability to interpret and analyze standard construction drawings for installation of security hardware of new and existing stores
Collaborate with other departments to determine solutions to best meet store security hardware needs to include ordering/assembly of hardware and coordinating proper service technicians
Build and maintain strong working relationships with other departments, vendors, contractors, etc., to ensure effective and efficient use of Company resources
Accurate completion of demanding time-sensitive responsibilities
With training, ability to pin cores, cut keys, and install cores into security hardware
Performing other duties as assigned
