About The Position

The Location Safety Manager provides operational oversight, work guidance, and leadership for safety supervisory duties. The role administers driver hiring and compliance, supports location trainers, investigates accidents and work-related injuries, and helps drivers and attendants with passenger management and other safety topics. It also conducts driver road checks, supervises employees with safety or driver hiring and training responsibilities, and reports on safety trends. The schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The salary is up to $75,000 per year, based on experience. The role requires English proficiency for training, safety communications, company policies, employment documents, and other job-related communications. Requirements

2–3 years of transportation or safety-related experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of federal and state rules and regulations regarding safety and environmental issues.
Computer literacy with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Consistent attendance and punctuality.
A working vehicle for travel in the service area.
English proficiency for job-related communications.

Responsibilities

Administer the driver hiring and compliance process.
Provide direction and guidance to location trainers.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and work-related injuries and determine fault or probability.
Prepare and submit accident-related compliance forms, maintain files, and enter information into the system.
Assist and train drivers and attendants on passenger management and other safety-related issues.
Perform road checks of driver performance.
Supervise employees with safety, driver hiring, or training responsibilities.
Prepare reports and analyze safety trends.
