About The Position

TSCG, a privately held, commercial real estate company, is hiring a Location Data Analyst in our Atlanta, Georgia office. This position is an in-office position with the ability to have 1 day remote after initial training period. Reports To: Director of GIS. Since 1984, our retail real estate platform has provided a full assortment of advisory services to tenants, landlords, developers, investors, and financial institutions throughout our territory. Our work on their behalf is dedicated to the validation of those descriptions. With 21 offices throughout the eastern U.S., we are the largest firm in our field in the United States.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in GIS, Geography, Geoinformatics, or a related discipline (an Economics or Urban Planning degree with ArcGIS Pro experience is acceptable)
  • Beginner-level knowledge of ArcGIS Pro.
  • TSCG is an all-Esri shop (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Business Analyst)
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Self-starter who finds ways to exceed expectations
  • Find new ways to be effective and efficient
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Confident presenting findings and recommendations to coworkers, brokers, and clients, both technical and non-technical
  • Accepting of new technologies with desire to adopt newest processes and workflows

  • Passion for visual storytelling using a variety of tools
  • Comfortable in Microsoft 365

Nice To Haves

  • Commercial real estate GIS experience a plus
  • Experience with AI tools such as Anthropic’s Claude a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage GIS requests for the Atlanta office in partnership with the other Atlanta-based GIS team member, from intake through final delivery, with full ownership of workload, priorities, and deadlines
  • Consult with brokers to understand each transaction and recommend the appropriate mapping or analysis, then produce the required materials (i.e. maps, demographic reports or analysis, web-based applications, etc.)
  • Stay current on Georgia retail trends, including retail openings and closures, new-to-market concepts, traffic counts, and future developments
  • Build clean, well-designed maps in ArcGIS Pro using company layout templates, symbology standards, and cartographic best practices
  • Work with spatial data in file and enterprise geodatabases and common formats, and run standard geoprocessing and analysis workflows (Network Analyst and Spatial Analyst experience a plus)
  • Create and share web maps, Experiences, dashboards, and StoryMaps in ArcGIS Online
  • Build trade areas, drive times, and demographic reports and infographics in ArcGIS Business Analyst
  • Understand what demographic and market data measures and how to present it to a non-technical audience
  • Clean and prepare tabular data in Excel for mapping and analysis
  • Use AI tools such as Claude in daily work
