Location Assistant Trainee
About The Position
MediaMKRS, a Reel Works program, educates and empowers individuals from diverse backgrounds to succeed in the media industry. Our program offers comprehensive training, hands-on work experiences, networking opportunities, and unparalleled access to industry professionals needed for a thriving career. In partnership with Theatrical Teamsters Local 817 and supported by funding through the New York Entertainment Workforce Diversity Grant Program and Amazon, Reel Works and LaGuardia Community College are hosting an intensive training program to prepare New Yorkers with the essential skills needed to work successfully as a Locations Assistant in the entertainment industry. This training takes place IN PERSON in NYC.
Requirements
- 18+ years old
- Eligible to work in the US
- NY State resident within 2 hours of NYC
- Valid Driver’s License (Learner's Permit is acceptable)
- Proficient computer skills
- Strong time management skills
- Comfortable with travel and navigation
- Attend the info session (first step in the application process)
