About The Position
Amber is looking for a Korean LQA Tester to work on-call at their offices in Montreal. Training will be provided for individuals without prior experience. The role involves testing video games to identify linguistic, visual, and cultural issues within the localized text across various game titles on mobile (iOS and Android), PC, and console platforms. You will be part of a multilingual team of LQA testers. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail, capable of spotting minor errors such as extra spaces, awkward phrasing, misspellings, or cultural inaccuracies in the Korean language.
Requirements
- Native-level language competency in Korean
- Professional-level language competency in English
- Proof of existing eligibility to work in Canada

Responsibilities
- Testing video game titles and verifying all text, images, and voice-over components in Korean
- Finding translation, contextual, cultural, and other linguistic errors in video game titles
- Reporting errors in a bug-tracking database and/or translation document in a clear manner
- Providing resolutions for errors reported to improve the linguistic and translated content
- Following and respecting terminology guidelines
- Cross-checking issues between different languages with your team
- Reporting to and following instructions from the Test Lead
- Addressing and escalating problems to the Test Lead
