About The Position
Tencent is now recruiting an English-to-French Localization Linguist for the review and LQA testing of various games developed by TiMi Studio Group.
Requirements
- Native French speaker with full professional proficiency in both English and French.
- Willing to take an on-the-spot translation assessment; solid experience in written translation.
- Avid gamer with in-depth knowledge of at least one game genre.
- Strong time management, process awareness, and a high sense of professional responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Localization PMs to align with project schedules and monitor overall project progress
- Review and validate French translations delivered by external vendors
- Maintain terminology databases and style guides
- Monitor LQA reports and player feedback, follow up on bug fixes continuously, and drive ongoing translation quality optimization.
