About The Position

The Local Supply Chain Planner (LSCP) is primarily responsible to ensure timely supply of materials to the local plant for uninterrupted production processing. The Local Supply Chain Planner (LSCP) is also responsible to follow up on all activities that require immediate action. The Local Supply Chain Planner (LSCP) is the main point of contact at a Taste compounding plant to translate the demands, requirements and special needs to the Regional Supply Chain Planners (RSCP). The LSCP is also the executor of planning activities which cannot be undertaken by centralized team. (eg bulk items planning, physical return, etc.) Call off of bulk materials and coordinate the receipt of bulk materials from a staging area. Mitigate any raw material shortages as a result of an unexpected inventory write-off or internal rejection in close coordination with the RSCP. a.In case of Quality Issues: communicate to QC in order to indicate the solution to solve the blocked stock, i.e. discard, return to use, or use as BU or up to certain level. Keep GSC Planner about this decision. In case of return to vendor, coordinate the execution of return with Warehouse and Outbound department. b.In case of inventory discrepancies, get the information from Finished Goods Planning/Production/WHS and communicate RSC Planner properly. Inform if an extra purchase is needed. If cannot wait for RSC Planner action (time zone) proceed with an extra purchase or deal with FG Planner to reschedule out specific POs/PRs. Collaborate with regional supply chain planner and global procurement in finding local vendors in case of unexpected supply issues. Coordinating and follow up with Inbound Material Coordinator for original paper work and incoming shipments. Be owner of physical part of pre-shipment samples process: pass the sample to WHC for goods receiving, and past the sample to QC for testing, follow-up the results together with RSCP. Be responsible to assure E&Rs execution at production floor and warehouse: material movement, labelling properly, request for DMA/Fixed Bin update. Communicate to RSCP any possible relevant FG rejection which impacts RM availability and triggers extra RM purchases. Act as a conduit between the commercial organization, Customer Service and the Global Master Planner/RSCP for all market relevant information (New Wins, Demand increases, Business Lost, Must Win Projects). Take part of meetings (Production, QC, Global Procurement, Plant Manager, and Customer Service) and translate to the Regional Supply Chain Planner which is relevant to meet plant expectations.
